are open to expanding, but as of right now,

Do I need experience to join?
No! Come as you are, with or without background in speech/debate.
I can’t travel my first semester. Can I still join?
Absolutely! Just make sure to remain active in the GroupMe and respond to event polls.

What level would I start at in debate?
It depends on how much experience you have!

Does it cost money to be involved?
Active members pay dues twice a year (once in the fall semester, once in the spring semester). While we try our hardest to keep it cost-effective, please let us know if you are unable to pay, and we will work with you.
Does the team offer scholarships?
As of right now, we do not offer scholarships. We are an unfunded, and therefore SELF-funded, group. That said, we hope to see that change!
I don’t want to compete, but I want to observe. Is that okay?
Yes, of course. We have a few students who simply want to judge, and that is perfectly fine with us.
